Rainwater Harvesting

This project identified if the pressure on public water supply could be alleviated in the Oxford to Cambridge area by at scale adoption of rainwater harvesting in non-household settings.

Rethinking Water Planning

This project looked at how we can better integrate water investment portfolios across the water disciplines, we used three separate case studies across the Lea, Nene and Ouse catchments to test two alternative approaches.

Local Nature Recovery Strategy through a Blue Lens

This pilot project designed and trial a method to take a dated approach to identifying and prioritising water environment opportunities in the LNRS (Local Nature Recovery Strategy) process working with the Bedfordshrire LNRS team.

Maximising planning for water

The project explored the impacts and opportunities of local planning policy on the water environment. We worked with three case-study authorities: West Oxfordshire, Greater Cambridge Shared Planning, and Milton Keynes, to develop guidance and a toolkit to help maximise opportunities for water and the water environment through local plans.
